It also has a seawater backflow prevention function. Its curved neck structure prevents waves and rainwater from entering the ventilation channel, avoiding seawater seepage into the cabins and damaging equipment or affecting the cabin environment. This function is particularly effective in protecting cabin safety when the ship encounters rough seas.
It also assists in regulating cabin air pressure. By controlling the ventilation volume, it balances the air pressure inside and outside the cabins, preventing excessively high or low pressure that could cause abnormal stress on the cabin structure. Furthermore, it can work in conjunction with other ventilation system equipment to regulate airflow velocity within the cabins, meeting the ventilation needs of different cabins (such as the engine room and cargo holds).
